Early works from Planetary aka Dan Curtin! This 10" is a first in a series, having Delsin re-releasing their (hidden) beauties and classics out of techno history.
Twice spaced-out hi-tech jazz jams, from the early nineties, both released on his own label Metamorphic. 'Matter Of Sound' was orignally released on a limited 7", and 'Inner View' is taken from the first Planetary EP from 1991, both from Dan's label Metamorphic. Sweet and smooth memories!

"Matter Of Sound" as a matter of fact, is quite frankly a serious lesson in how to program techno drums; music like this is not a distant memory, but a timeless gem to be rocked for years to come.
Well done for putting this out again, are you sending out vinyl copies?

Really cool if you think about it, these tracks are 17 years old and you can still play them! Even cooler that Curtin is still rockin' it. Really dynamic/organic compositions (how I love those claps and snares, takes me back). 303 in Inner View is great stuff also, never boring... We are here! And never leaving!!! at 11:08AM on June 20th, 2008

Dan Curtin is the lost hero of techno! And he is the producer of my all time favourite techno track (no i won't say it and hope it will also be released from here). He has done timeless tracks for outer space. Still workin' hard in Berlin. Looking forward for the next releases in the series. at 1:48AM on June 17th, 2008

aiaiai, 'matter of sounds' takes me back to the legendaty x-mix cd serieus, futururistic robotic electronic music with soul.....lovely! 'inner view' is cool 2 but 'matter of sounds' wins it for me, jus a little bit more personality and altough i could guess both tracks are very old still 'a matter of sounds' gives me the 'woooooooow' feeling where 'inner view' jus gives me the 'cool in those days' feeling haha....lovely :) at 5:43PM on May 28th, 2008
